Alert CAD and RMS Release Notes: 2025 Q3 Release (v6.0.900)


      Our 2025 Q3 Release brings enhanced functionality and cost-effective solutions to your agency's system. Our team is committed to excellence and creating innovations that serve your public safety needs. This release includes new features and updates for our award-winning Computer Aided Dispatch and Mobile software.
  1.  New ALERT Product Suite Features

   With 6.0.900, we have enhanced the Product Suite to further filter out stored files between Modules such as LERMS Incidents, Warrants, and Inspections. Feature Enhancement done by the Development Team of the addition of 6 new forms: Missing Person Form (Prints from Involved Party List within the RMS Incident), License Plate (Will Print from Vehicle List within the RMS Incident), Stolen Vehicle Form, Civil Protection Order (CPO) Cover Sheet, Return Letter (Warrant), Gun Cover Sheet. The Team also reviewed and Made changes to a syntax error in the SQL statement for the CFS By Disposition Report. Lastly, the Team enhanced the Environment Settings to allow users to toggle their chat window to default displaying all agencies when opening.   1.   New ALERT LERMS Features
      In addition to Product Suite Enhancements, the Team has enhanced aspects of LERMS such as a more efficient way for responders to process Evidence/Property related to Incidents associated by an event date, location, and collection officer.  Additionally, the ability to create a narrative supplement for the event, to create a Print List like Receipts for batch printing Labels, filter both lists above by the event or Property View, added an Event Name Column within the database, added from Location, To Location and Reason to Property Import into Property Management (Multiple Import List), and removed "Officer" from Received By Signature on Property Signoff. There are now Batch Print options for LERMS Incidents within the Property Tab of Offense Reports and the Narratives Tab of Traffic Ticket Reports.   (Product Stability Index #G26460, #G26446, #G26502, #G27503)

  1.  New ALERT CAD Features

An enhancement was added so that Dispatchers can edit Involved Parties DOB, Sex, Race, Ethnicity and SSN with the Involved Party Tab of a Call for Service. The Development Team has also enhanced the Advanced Search within State Query to search for queries by Agency. Additionally, the Development Team made a correction of the Address Validation Form to stop carrying over the common location from previous validations when creating an incident from the validation test form.  (Product Stability Index #G26502, # G27062, #G27097)

  1. Batch Printing of Narratives for Traffic Citations:

Within a LERMS Incident report for Traffic Tickets within the Narratives tab and under the supplement Narrative Tab.



  1. Chat Window Environment Setting:

Users will go to File > User Preferences > Environment Settings then within the first tab labeled Modules they will be able to select if they want their chat window to display all agencies by default.


  1. Advanced Search Enhancement of State Query:



  1. Property Events Feature:

This feature can be accessed via the Property tab within ALERT LERMS Incident Forms.

Select the Insert button to start a Property Event for the incident.


Input the total amount of Property that will be added to the Incident, the type of Property and the Property Loss Type.

Input the first property item information.



Users will be able to add Event Notes, Supplemental Narratives, and relate the property to the Offense and Involved Party.

Users can also Batch print narratives by selecting the Print button below the Supplement Narrative List:




Once completed a Property Form will initiate, review the input information and once confirmed it is correct select the Insert button and a prefilled Property Form will appear for the remaining property. Continue to input the additional property records in the Property From and the selecting the insert button.



After entering all the property, the Product Suite will go back to Property List.


Once the property event is completed and all property is entered the User can then Print the Evidence Worksheets, a single label for property, a batch or labels for the property, a property Listing and the property receipts.


  1. Additional Forms:

  1. Missing Person Worksheet can be printed from the Involved Party List in a LERMS Incident.



  1. Vehicle Worksheets for NCIC can be printed from the Vehicle List in a LERMS Incident.



  1. Civil Protection Order (CPO) Cover Sheet and Return Letter (Warrant) can be printed in the Documents/Warrant List under ALERT Modules.




  1. NCIC Gun Cover Sheet can be printed from the Property List of a LERMS Incident.




  1. Supervised Release Worksheet Can be printed from Involved Parties Tab of a LERMS Incident.
