Feature 440 – Streamline entry of property,
seized drugs, and stolen vehicles.
We
have added a new option in the system called unify incident property entry. Currently
property, seized drugs, and stolen vehicles are displayed and managed in
separate grids on the incident report. We have added an option to unify
these under one single grid called "Property". This option can
be enabled or disabled in the system without affecting any entered data.
When an
officer enters a new piece of property using the new unified option they will
initially decide whether they're entering regular property, a seized drug, or a
stolen vehicle.
After
selecting an option the existing forms and edit screens will be used to handle the
different categories of property.
The unify
incident property entry option uses the same forms and edit screens, it just combines
the entry and display of different property types into one section. The new
combined property grid displays detailed information in the summary column of
property seen below.
